Learn or hone your tubular herringbone skills to create this slightly undulating bracelet. Varied sizes of Toho beads and colors will be stitched to accentuate the ins and outs of the pattern. Blowing and Using Shards
This intermediate lampworking class has you blowing glass bubbles using a hollow mandrel. Break up your bubble and use that glass to embellish a bead. There will be lots of experimentation, using glass, silver foil, enamel powers, and frit. Instructor: Karen Kubby. Pre-requisite: Lampworking skills. Zodiac Series: CRAW Crab Pendant
Make this 3-D crab pendant using cubed right angle weave (CRAW), brick stitch, and ladder stitch. This is the seventh of a yearlong series, making jewelry projects that correspond to the current Zodiac sign. Cancer is the sign for those with birthdays June 21 through July 22.
