National Night Out
Join us for a fun-filled National Night Out event at Kenwood Park at the corner of 35th St. and Zach Johnson Dr. NE on August 5, 2025. If it rains, no worries – we'll move the party to Kenwood Park United Methodist Church, 175 34th Street NE. The menu includes hot dogs, chips, cookies and ice cream with drinks. Sponsor for the event is Hy-Vee Food Stores. The party begins at 5:30 p.m. and continues until 7:00 p.m. The event is free to Kenwood Park neighbors. There will be yard games and prizes. Daisy, the Clown, will be there to create special balloons for the kids. Representatives of the Police Department will stop by. Music will be provided. Anyone interested in volunteering to set up, serve or help with games contact Erica Yoder (KPNA President) at 319-369-4810. We will be collecting school supplies for Kenwood Park Leadership Academy.
