55+ Chair Yoga and Lifestyle Changes to Decrease Dementia: At 1:00pm Tammy Bayer will be leading a beginner level chair yoga class. She will adapt the class as needed to fit your needs and mobility levels. Chair yoga uses a chair for support with seated and (occasional) standing postures. This makes yoga accessible to those who are new to it, have various physical limitations, or find other yoga classes challenging. No experience necessary.
At 2:00pm Alexis Rehovsky of the Health, Brain, & Cognition Lab will share information about lifestyle changes that have positive effects on cognition and aging, as well as what goes on inside the HBC Lab and how people can get involved in our research!
