Wild Rose Casino & Hotel is pleased to announce David Anthony will make his 2nd appearance in 2025 in December! If you missed the show in February, here is your chance for a night of magic and belly laughing comedy hypnosis. David will bring all new magic and comedy hypnosis to the stage. Join us on Saturday, December 27, 2025, in the Oakwood Ballroom at 8:00 pm. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, October 24. This is a 21+ event.
David’s love of magic started when he was just five years old after receiving a magic kit from his uncle. A native of Cleveland, his first performance took place at just 12 years of age. Rodney Whitlock, the owner of a local magic shop, assisted him with his craft. He attended his first magic convention when he was 15. Since then, he has won competitions with his award-winning act, “A Tale of Serendipity.” Those awards include receiving 3rd place at the 2008 International Battle of magicians, 1st place at the 2009 Magi-Fest, and 1st place at the 2009 International Brotherhood of Magicians, where he also won the prestigious Fantasma Award. David continues to work with his theater director, Art Thomas, in developing bigger and better routines.
You will experience mind blowing magic and laugh out loud comedy hypnosis in this fun filled evening. The first half will include some of David most well-known magic routines that will leave you in amazement. Then, YOU become the stars of the show in the second half as David invites volunteers up on stage to get hypnotized. Imagine your friends or family on stage not being able to remember their name or claiming that their belly button was stolen! This is just the beginning of what to expect in this fun-filled evening.
The doors will open at 7:00 pm, with the excitement starting at 8:00 pm. Advance tickets start at $20 + tax/fees, and they are available for purchase beginning Friday, October 24 at the Iowa Store Box Office or online at wildroseresorts.com. Day of show tickets will increase and start at $30 + tax/fees. You must be 21+ to attend this event. A cash bar will be available.
