To celebrate April as National Poetry Month, Arts Iowa City’s ArtiFactory (120 N. Dubuque St) presents “PO/ART/RY,” an exhibit exploring the dynamic interplay between poetry and art. Fourteen local artists display their work—including drawing, painting, collage, assemblage, and fabric—that interacts with poetry in different ways.
The show runs through April 26. Gallery hours are Saturday 1-3 pm or by appointment, which can be made on the website (artifactory.artsiowacity.org). Admission is free.
