On May 12 at the Andersen Center Point Library storytellers Darrin Crow and his wife Robin will tell a fictionalized tale about two young Iowa couples living through the Vietnam War. The story is inspired by their parents; one father was a Navy river patrol sailor and the other was an Army radio man in country. The free program--"Beyond the Beaten Path: Four Iowans and their Journey to Home and Love"-- begins at 6:30 and is sponsored by Friends of the Center Point Library.
