Support the efforts of Save CR Heritage to purchase the historic Zastera Pharmacy building to use as an architectural salvage store in northwest Cedar Rapids! While supplies last, donors of $100 or more will receive a brick with a Czech connection – from the Sykora Bakery auction in Czech Village – to pay tribute to the building's first owner, the son of Bohemian immigrants. Your name will also be included on the Save CR Heritage website and donor wall at the shop. The event coincides with the monthly salvage sale of vintage doors, windows and more, with sales proceeds benefiting the capital campaign, as well. Contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated. Save CR Heritage received an incredible $100,000 grant from the Hall-Perrine Foundation, but needs to raise $75,000, the remainder of the purchase price, by Aug. 1 to make this a reality and breathe new life into the historic Time Check Neighborhood!
