Munros are mountains in Scotland. Specifically, mountains over 3,000 ft, as cataloged by Sir Hugo Munro.
**We will sign in at 11am at the base of Mt. Trashmore (elev. 948 ft) and begin our ascent. Once at the top, we will plant the Scottish flag and claim it as our own. We will take a group picture and descend.
We will regroup at Lion Bridge Brewing Co., 59 16th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, for a beer to quench our thirst. There is water and root beer as well. The brewery allows patrons to order bar snacks, appetizers, and food from neighboring restaurants to accompany their drinks.
