The Heartland Marimba Quartet is kicking off HM's 11th Season "Echoes & Evolution" with the first of ELEVEN tours to Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Galena, Winnipeg, and MINNEAPOLIS! HMQ (Matthew Coley, Eri Isomura, Marco Schirripa, and Sam Wetzel) is collaborating with the Iowa Composers Forum for the first tour of their 11th season: "Echoes and Evolution!" Don't miss this August opportunity to hear the creations of 5 Iowa composers performed by the world's only touring classical marimba organization.
Also, join the Heartland Marimba Quartet for a pre-concert special event from 6-7pm. Meet the performers, hear detailed fun-facts about their work and music. Meet composers. Smile and laugh, and enjoy a drink or two before the evening's concert.
