Raquel & The Wildflowers bring a unique East Coast style to Country music. Led by Raquel de Souza, this band has followed a path that is uniquely their own. Beginning her career as an actress, Raquel found that her true love was Country music (and it didn't take long for her to find out country music loved her too).
After spending some time in Los Angeles, Raquel returned home to New York to form her Country band, Raquel & The Wildflowers. It didn't take long for them to find mainstream success as their debut single, "Run Towards the Highway," peaked at No. 32 on the charts.
