Chain Reaction is leading a FTWN (femme/trans/women/nonbinary) community group ride through the city showing how to navigate different types of traffic and roadways. We'll meet at Chain Reaction Bike Hub (1010 3rd Ave SW) at 5:00pm and do a quick ride prep and safety check. We'll then ride a 6-7 mile loop around Cedar Rapids, exploring how to ride on different types of roads and with traffic. This is no-drop community ride where nobody gets left behind. Our route will include separate bike lanes, multi-use trail, roads without bike lanes, and how to handle different types of intersections. Bring your bike, helmet and lights! Let us know if you need to borrow a bike through registering on our website.
