Meet Pete the Turtle’s cousins—Norman, Normella, and Normina! These playful new pals are here to help everyone have a great time in The Iowa Children’s Museum by showing us how to Be Safe, Be Kind, and Be Gentle while we play.
Kids can make their own Norm button, color their favorite turtle, join special sing-alongs, and even take home a Pete & the Norms sticker sheet (free for the first 100 guests). During this special day, you’ll also spot Norm Challenge Stations throughout the museum that highlight the best ways to play in each space.
Sticker giveaway will begin at 10 a.m. (while supplies last). All other activities will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the sing-along at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Come celebrate our turtle trio and learn what it means to follow The Norms! When everyone plays safely, kindly, and gently, the museum becomes an even better place to imagine, create, discover, and explore together.
