Event Description

Join Darcie Yamada, Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist, for a virtual workshop created especially for parents of preschool-aged children. Together, you’ll explore how simple, child-led play can strengthen your relationship, build trust, and support your child’s emotional growth. Darcie will share practical strategies and examples you can use at home to nurture connection and confidence through everyday moments of play. This is a free virtual workshop. Advance registration is required. As we recognize National Children’s Grief Awareness Month in partnership with the Association of Children’s Museums, we’re honored to welcome former ICM board chair and therapist Darcie Yamada back to share her insights on the healing and nurturing power of play.
