Join Sandy Rosenberger at Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha) for a fun-filled workshop in which we’ll learn the basics of melt-and-pour soapmaking with a glycerin soap base made without hard detergents. We'll also make a beautiful moisturizing glycerin lotion. Both the soap and lotion can be scented with either fragrance oils or essential oils that will be provided. Sandy Rosenberger, Prairiewoods’ development coordinator, has a degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Iowa. She’s worked in hospital telecommunications. was a retail shop owner in Marion and the NewBo District, served as director of volunteers and marketing at a local nonprofit, and was the Linn County master gardener coordinator.
