A Very Beneficial Mother & Son Event. Filmmaker Steve Berry and his mother, Artist J. Berry will present a retrospective film screening and a silent art auction at The CSPS Hall in Cedar Rapids to benefit the African American Museum of Iowa, and the University of Iowa, Toni Berry Memorial Scholarship Fund. Now at 87 years of age, this event opens a month-long exhibit representing the impressive career of Artist J. Berry's original works going back to the beginning. As Professor Emeritus at Howard University's Department of Media, Journalism & Film, Steve will screen & discuss 5 of the many short films he has produced and directed during his long career. The event is Free and open to the public. Donations requested.
