Event Description

Join us for a fun skill-based Friday Night Out on the wheel! In this workshop, participants will be learning to make a wheel thrown luminary tree! Learn from a step-by-step broken down demo of how to pull and shape the form by your instructor, Claire. Spend the rest of the time at the wheel forming your own tree, adding shape texture, and or holes for light. Each participant will create 1-2 pieces out of 5 tries. Each piece will be processed through our kilns; once after it dries and a second time with your choice in low fire glaze (applied by staff); exclusive to this type of workshop! Finished projects will be available for pick up after 3 weeks at ICCGS. This 2-hour workshop is for ages 21+. BYOB! This workshop is recommended for participants who have previously taken a FNO or WTI workshop, and or feel comfortable centering and pulling walls. Friday: December 18 Time: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Cost: $55.00/per person 21+ pre-registration
